    This historical site is today the official residence of the Spanish Monarchy and is also closely related to the origin of Madrid. The staircase used by noblemen in the 18th century and ambassadors nowadays, will lead us to 25 rooms with impressive frescoes, sculptures, chandeliers, tapestries, furniture, ceramics, royal family portraits and other sumptuous decoration. Meanwhile we will discover some of the most remarkable events in Spanish history, understand the life of a 18th century royal family and get to know some of the most interesting anecdotes kept within its walls.
