From the gangway inside the harbour, local guides will take you to explore the "End of the World". With a personalised tour, avoiding the crowds, through Tierra del Fuego National Park, where we will visit:
- Ensenda Zaratiegui, where we will be able to see the End of the World Post Office. (Closed down by P.N Argentina)
- Lapataia Bay, with its landscape surrounded by mountains, its archaeological sites and the symbolic value of being the end of the Pan-American Highway.
- Lago Acigami, a lake with impressive scenery and native flora and fauna.
- Cañadon del Toro, here we will enjoy a picnic with some local delicacies. This is one of the quietest and least visited places in the National Park.
We will also get to know the city of Ushuaia, as on our way we will see most of the city, houses, squares, schools, and the way the local population lives and is made up.
At the end of the tour you can choose to get off in the city centre or we can take you back to the cruise ship.
Only pick up from the port, no pick up from hotels. Only for passengers arriving to Ushuaia by cruise ship. The day you arrive in Ushuaia we will be waiting for you next to the gangway inside the port of Ushuaia, next to the cruise ship (it will not be necessary to walk out of the pier). We will have a sign with your name on it.
Note: The National Park Fee is mandatory and must be paid directly upon entering the park, approximately $30 via credit card. Within the National Park, the places to visit are: -Ensenada Zaratiegui: Here you will find the End of the Word Post Office (Depending on whether the postman decides to open the post office) and a beautiful view of the Isla Redonda and the Sampaio Mountains (Chile). -Lapataia Bay: This is the end of the National Route N°3 and the end of the Panamerican Highway. We will visit archaeological sites inhabited by the Yamanas. (Indigenous Peoples). -Lake Acigami: crystalline lake divided between Argentina and Chile. Here we will take a short interpretive walk. Cañadon del Toro, one of the least visited places by tourists. Here we will enjoy a picnic. With local pastries (Alfajores of dulce de Leche).
During our trip from the port to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, we will be able to see the entire western area of the city of Ushuaia. On our way back, we will take another road so that we can get to know the city of Ushuaia in a non-touristy part. It will take us the same amount of time as the morning route.
