On the second day, you will have a family day to the local families favourites according to seasons. You can go to your destination of today by using the HSL card for public transportation.
Helsinki city has a well-developed public transportation network, so that you can almost reach most places in the city by tram, metro, bus, etc. If you are not sure where to begin this day, then come to Helsinki Central Railway Station, nearby you will be able to take tram to Linnamäki, bus to Korkeasaari... and more destinations!
Lasipalatsi means the Glass Palace in Finnish. On its backside you will see the Kamppi Chapel, the construction with its distinctive appearance. Lasipalatsi is an important transportation station, as it is close to the Central Railway Station, and face the iconic busy street of Mannerheimintie. At this station you will find the tram to Linnamäki.
Mannerheimintie, named after the Finnish military leader and statesman Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim, is the main street and boulevard of Helsinki, Finland.
