Day 1: Arrival to Bale Mountains Upon arrival at Goba airport via flight , our team will greet you and drive to Dinsho, the entry point to the Bale Mountains. Set up camp and embark on a hike to explore the area's diverse wildlife, including Warthog, Mountain Nyala, Menelik’s Bushbuck, and various endemic birds. Overnight Camping.
Day 2: Sanetti Plateau and the Harenna Forest After breakfast, break camp and journey to the Sanetti plateau. Witness the Ethiopian wolf in its natural habitat as it hunts at sunrise. Marvel at the unique flora and fauna, including the giant mole rat and rare lichens. Spot a variety of birds of prey soaring above, such as eagles, falcons, and buzzards. Visit Tulu Dimtu, the highest mountain in the park, before descending into the lush Harenna forest. Stop at Rira village for refreshments and embark on a short hike to discover bamboo-filled canyons and waterfalls. Keep an eye out for Columbus monkeys and Menelik’s bushbuck
Day 3: Harenna Forest – Transfer to Airport Take a short drive to explore the southern part of the National Park and hike the Gushuralle Peak Forest Trail, offering panoramic views of the Harenna Forest. Spot wildlife along the way, including Bale monkeys and giant forest hogs. Return to Goba town and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa.
