Escape the crowds and experience the peaceful side of Mt. Fuji!
At 2,305m (7,500ft), the 5th Station offers stunning views and clean mountain air—perfect for a relaxing walk. On this tour, we’ll hike a 2.5 km (1.6 mile) section of the historic Ochudo Trail, once used by pilgrims on spiritual journeys.

The path is mostly flat with gentle slopes, making it suitable for all ages and fitness levels. A certified local mountain guide who speaks English will share stories about Mt.Fuji’s unique nature, culture and sacred past.

After the hike, enjoy an authentic Japanese lunch at a mountain hut. (Please bring some cash for the meal.)

This tour is available from May to December, and we provide free rental gear so even outdoor beginners or travelers without hiking equipment can join!

    This is the entrance for peoplo who climb up Mt.Fuji. It is the most popular of the four 5th stations on Mount Fuji and the best developed station. There is Komitake shrine which is an ancient shrine built more than 1,000 years ago. Let's start the tour after praying for the goddess of Mt.Fuji!

    Okuniwaso is a mountain hut which has japanese traditional atmosphere. We are going to have a lunch break here. They have original souvenir and great japanese food like Tempura,Udon and Soba. Okuniwaso is also well known to the place where we can enjoy bird watching.

    Once, only people who had climbed Mt.Fuji more than 3times are allowed to walk on Ochudo-trail for pilgrimage. Now only 2.5 km(1.5 miles) is open because of safty issues but we still can enjoy the dynamic view below our eyes!
