Looking for a truly unique activity in the Bay of Plenty? Join us for a two-hour, hands-on Gin Lab workshop, led by Matahui’s master distiller, Paul. Perfect for gin lovers of all levels, this experience allows you to design and craft your very own 500ml bottle of bespoke gin, tailored precisely to your taste.
You’ll explore an incredible selection of botanicals—many grown right here in our on-site permaculture garden. Paul will guide you through the entire process, ensuring your gin is balanced, flavourful, and completely unique.
After crafting your gin, enjoy a complimentary tasting of Matahui Distillery’s award-winning spirits, including New Zealand’s Best Botanical Spirit. You’ll also have the chance to take a guided tour of our eco-friendly micro-distillery and learn how we harness the power of nature to create our luxury gins and liqueurs.
