  Amalfi Coast

  Positano

  Known as the city of the Sun, as it is the only town on the coast from which you can see the sunset in certain winter months. (The coast faces southeast, and Praiano is the only town out enough to the sea to allow you to see the sun setting behind Capri in the colder months). During the first week of August, for the feast of St. Dominic (patron saint of Praiano), there are planned illuminations in the city. The whole town turns off its lights and is lit by candles, and fireworks and flame shows are held at the church for three days.

  Grotta dello Smeraldo (Emerald Grotto)

  The Emerald grotto is located in the town of Conca dei Marini, part of the Amalfi Coast and rising between Praiano and Amalfi. The cave is famous because of its variety of colors and multiple rock formations, such as stalagmites and stalactites, making also nice effects underwater, with famous formations as the "holly family" The grotto can be visited from land or from the sea, reaching the check point and paying a small fee for a short boat ride inside the cave to admire the attractions located in.

  The fiord of Furore is a tiny beach located along the Amalfi coast, famous for its lovely views and quiet conditions, a bridge is letting the cars go between the mountains and is possible to enjoy very clear views of the sea and the green cliffs.   Visit the memorable city of Ravello, a town freeze in time with its emblematic villa Cimbrone, a majestic building, now working as hotel, but once an important resident from nobile people, with the characteristic infinite terrace, where you can touch the sky and kiss the Tyrrhenian Sea while taking outstanding pictures of the landscapes.
