The Guide will meet you at gate #4 of the archaeological zone of Teotihuacán to begin the tour inside, we will start with the base of the sun and end at the base of the moon during the visit images will be shown. 2km from the archaeological zone, we will visit one of the Teotihuacan neighborhoods where the largest concentration of underground caves was found that were an important part of the development of this great metropolis. You can see a hole in the upper part of the cave, what archaeologists call observatories that were used as solar markers. We will visit one of the towns surrounding Teotihuacán known as San Martín de las pyramidas where we will attend the workshops given by the artisans to introduce us to obsidian, a volcanic crystal which formed a very important part for the development of Teotihuacán since it was the main base of their economy with which they produced arrowheads, spears, knives, sunscreens and masks among other pieces. We will also taste one of the sacred drinks for this culture known as pulque in which we will have the opportunity to see how they extract it. the Maguey aguamiel, a plant endemic to Mexico to produce pulque and we will also try the Tequila from Jalisco and the mezcal that is produced in Oaxaca. Finally, they will show us the process of smelting and making silver since Mexico is one of the leading silver producers in the world.
