This theater offers an easy and enjoyable way to view beautiful Japanese kimonos and traditional accessories through a show.
You will also have the opportunity to see a lion dance and a samurai sword fight, which can only be seen at Japanese festivals and special events, right in front of you.

The Theater is located in the Covered shopping street. *For the Late Show on Apr 10-12. Guests will meet at Asakusa Kaguwa Theater and will be guided to MOKUBAKAN Hall for the performance.
What to expect
Watch a spectacular show that mixes traditional culture and contemporary music, the only one of its kind in Asakusa. Get swept up in the ambiance as the show begins and the music swells. Get the chance to meet and take photos with the performers before and after the show.
Simple meals are also available separately in the restaurant.

･1st Show: Open 4:00 pm / Show 5:00 pm ～ 6:00 pm
･2nd Show: Open 7:00 pm / Show 8:00 pm ～ 9:00 pm
*Seats are assigned by the theater in the order of reservation.
*The show begins one hour after doors open. Please plan to arrive at least thirty minutes before the show to ensure a smooth check-in
*The stairs accessing the venue are steep and there is no elevator. Please use caution if you have mobility issues. Our staff is happy to assist those in need.
