    The church of St Grwst was the final resting place of Llywelyn the Great, one of the kingdoms most successful Princes. His stone coffin is now located at the church.

    Castell Dolbadarn

    Built by Llewelyn the Great in the early thirteenth century, this is one of the greatest of the castles built by the Welsh princes. A circular keep that has attracted artists and set in a stunning landscape.

    One of the greatest castles ever built by an English King. Caernarfon is massively symbolic, it was the centre for the English conquest of Wales.
