On this experience we cover 3 different areas, the old core of the city and our favorite park. We combine our culture & history exploration with a local wine tasting. Let’s dive in…
We start next to a majestic monument, the Arc de Triomf and the 1888 Universal Expo ground. After a short walk we enter the biggest public park in the city, Barcelona’s version of Central Park. Here we start with a refreshing toast, salut!
We cross “El Born”; a very charming and bohemian area famous for it’s tapas bars, world class wine & cocktail bars, boutique shops, museums & art galleries
Next we will enter this maze of little streets with many hidden treasures, The “Gothic Quarter”. It's where it all began! From Roman ruins to Medieval times. We'll travel back in time as we explore the layers of 2000 years of history

Starting point of the tour and one of the important landmarks of Barcelona. This is where we begin our history walk through the Gothic quarter. Get ready to dive into 2000 years of history!

2Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic)
Let´s get lost in the maze of little street! This is the oldest and most authentic part of the city with an important medieval history, Roman remainings and many other hidden treasures. We will cover some of the main highlights as we make this little time travel together

3Mercado de Santa Caterina
We will visit the oldest food market in town, this market is especially beloved among the locals. We explore the market while we use our 5 senses for the full experience, afterwards we enjoy some tapas and a refreshing drink inside the market building. You´ll feel like a local!

4El Born
The tapas gave us the right boost of energy for our next walking tour through the popular "El Born" neighborhood. The 2nd oldest neighborhood in the city houses many small art galleries, boutique shops, outstanding pastry shops, tapas bars and cocktail bars with international fame. It´s hip & artsy & delicious, let us show you around El Born!

5Arc de Triomf
Next to the majestic Arc de Triomf and the 1888´s Universal Expo ground we will have lunch in a restaurant which serves possibly the best paella in Barcelona!

6Parc de la Ciutadella
We conclude our tour inside the biggest public park, Barcelona´s version of Central Park, named "Parc de la Ciutadella". This is the favorite park for many Barcelonians. We finish in front of the stunning Monumental Cascade, what better place to take our last picture to record a lovely memory.
