From the moment you book, we stay in close contact so you know exactly what to expect. On the road, you are with an experienced local guide in an advanced 4x4 Mercedes expedition van, built to safely navigate winter mountain roads away from crowded bus routes. With just eight guests, the experience is calm, safe, and personal. Instead of relying on city weather apps, your guide tracks live satellite cloud data and space weather throughout the evening, driving inland or across the border to find clear skies. You never have to worry about freezing—our van stays warm inside even with the engine off. Your guide handles your photos, hosts a quiet campfire, and brings you safely back to your door.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We contact you on the afternoon of your tour via WhatsApp or SMS to confirm your exact pickup time and guide details.
Please ensure the phone number on your booking includes your international country code (+) and belongs to someone traveling with an active mobile or data connection in Norway.
On the evening of your tour, please be ready in your hotel lobby, outside your accommodation entrance, or at the cruise port security gate at your scheduled pickup time.
We return you directly to your original pickup address (hotel lobby, apartment, or cruise port gate). If you prefer to be dropped off at an alternative location (such as Tromsø city center or a different accommodation within a 5 km radius), simply let your guide know during the tour and we will gladly arrange it.

Tromsø (Pickup & Heading Out) We pick you up directly from your hotel or cruise port gate in our 4x4 Mercedes van and introduce you to your guide and group. Before hitting the road, we review live satellite weather maps together so you can see where the clouds are moving and where we are heading to find clear skies.

2Troms
Arctic Wilderness & Inland Valleys (The Chase & Campfire) We leave city lights behind, driving into quiet mountain valleys or across the border into Finland where the sky is open. Once settled in the wilderness, we watch for the Northern Lights and gather around a wood campfire for hot drinks and warm snacks. You never have to worry about freezing—our van stays heated inside even with the engine turned off, so you can step inside whenever you want to warm up. Your guide sets up the tripods and takes portraits of you under the lights.

3Tromso
Tromsø (Safe Drop-Off) Once the chase wraps up, we drive you safely back to Tromsø. Instead of dropping you at a cold central bus stop in the middle of the night, we take you directly to your hotel door or cruise ship security gate.
