Please meet us under the Door. Meet under the arc of the door looking towards rue de la porte dijeau. The Porte Dijeaux is one of the six entrances to Bordeaux. It is located at the western end of the decumanus formed by the alignment of the streets Porte Dijeaux and Saint-Rémi.
The end of the tour is near the Garonne (the river) and there are tram stops very close by that can take you all over the city or back to your accommodation. It stands at the northern end of the Place du Palais, near the Palais de Justice and the Grosse Cloche.

It stands at the northern end of the Place du Palais, near the Palais de Justice and the Grosse Cloche. Built in the late 15th century, around 1494, the Porte Cailhau served as one of the main gates to the city of Bordeaux.
