Central Park is one of the most significant iconic places in the world, and visiting Central Park with guided horse carriages is on most people's bucket lists. Big Apple Horse Carriage Rides Company has provided Standard guided Horse Carriage tours in Central Park since 2005.

During the ride, our customers would learn about Central Park's history and places in Central Park, such as the Ice Skating rink, Carousel, Dairy House, and Central Park Zoo and many more.

Our drivers would stop at Cherry Hill to take photos of our customers.

Our Customers would learn movie scenes. That is, our drivers highlight movie scenes in Central Park.

We will cover all the following locations during your Standard Guided Central Park Horse Carriage tour: Wollman Ice Rink, Carousel, Chess & Checkers House, Dairy, Zoo, Balto Statue, Summer Stage, Boathouse, Bethesda Terrace Fountain, Cherry Hill (Photo Stop), Strawberry Fields, The Dakota Building, Sheep Meadow, Tavern on the Green, and Columbus Circle.

We pick up our customers from 200 Central Park South, which is the corner of 7th avenue and 59th street.

We pick up our customers from the intersection of 7th Avenue and 59th Street on Central Park South. In other words, we pick you up right across the New York Athletic Club. And look for Big Apple Horse Carriage drivers.

  • Wollman Rink (Pass by)

    This is the largest Ice Skating Rink in the city. It is open 7 days a week from mid November to Mid March. It is also recognized by the movies Home Alone 2, Gossip Girls, and Elf.

  • Central Park Carousel (Pass by)

    It is one of the oldest carousels in the world, having been running since 1908. It has 57 wooden horses and is operated by electric.

    It was built in 1952. There are 24 tables. Spring and Summer seasons a lot of people go there to play Chess or Checkers.
