Start early with a drive from Pokhara to Jhinu Danda (approx. 3 hours). This scenic journey offers glimpses of rural Nepalese life and beautiful landscapes. Begin your trek from Jhinu Danda, crossing lush forests and suspension bridges. Enjoy the sights of the Modi Khola river along the way. The trail has a mix of steep ascents and gradual climbs. Continue your trek through the rhododendron and bamboo forests to reach Bamboo.
Today's trail takes you through lush forests and uphill paths with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Cross through the settlements of Dovan and the Himalayan Hotel before reaching Deurali. This stretch of the trek provides a closer view of the glacier rivers and towering peaks. Continue your trek towards ABC (4,130 m). The trail gradually ascends through alpine meadows. As you approach ABC, the panoramic views of the Annapurna massif, including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and more, become increasingly breathtaking.
Wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise over the Annapurna range. The changing colors of the peaks as the sun rises is an unforgettable sight. Begin your descent back to Bamboo, retracing your steps through the same beautiful landscape. The downward journey is faster but still requires careful footing on the rocky trails.
Begin the trek back to Jhinu Danda. The trail involves several ascents and descents, passing through forests and alongside terraced fields. Reach Jhinu Danda in time for lunch. Afterward, you can relax in the nearby natural hot springs, soothing your tired muscles. After a relaxing soak, take a jeep or vehicle back to Pokhara, arriving in the late afternoon.
After breakfast, take a scenic drive from Pokhara to Chitwan National Park. During the journey, witness the changing landscapes from hills to the flat plains of the Terai region. Upon arrival at your jungle lodge in Chitwan, receive a warm welcome followed by lunch. Get an introduction to the activities planned for the coming days. In the afternoon, enjoy a Tharu cultural dance performance in the evening.
Wake up early for a refreshing start. Embark on a canoe ride along the Rapti River, where you can spot various species of birds and crocodiles. After the canoe ride, take a guided jungle walk with experienced naturalists. Learn about the flora and fauna of Chitwan, and keep an eye out for animals like deer, monkeys, and rhinos. In the afternoon, go on a thrilling Jeep safari into the depths of Chitwan National Park. Explore the diverse wildlife habitat and have a chance to see animals like the Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, and various bird species.
Chitwan is a birdwatcher's paradise. Go on an early morning bird-watching tour with an expert guide to spot some of the park's numerous bird species. After breakfast, prepare for your journey back to Kathmandu. Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu by tourist bus.
