In the morning 7 am drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, passing through scenic landscapes of terraced farmlands, rivers, and local villages. Arrive in Pokhara, where you’ll check into your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening by Phewa Lake and stunning views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountains.
A scenic drive takes you to Nayapul (1.5 hours). From there, begin your trek towards Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village known for its rich culture and stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. Afternoon Explore Ghandruk’s heritage and culture, visiting local museums and interacting with villagers.
Trek uphill through rhododendron and oak forests, crossing small streams and bridges, eventually reaching Chhomrong, a gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Relax in Chhomrong, enjoying views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.
Descend to the Chhomrong Khola River and climb uphill to Sinuwa before heading through dense forests to Dovan. The trail offers stunning views of the river valley and distant peaks.
Pass through bamboo forests and alpine landscapes as you trek towards the Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). After a short rest, continue to Annapurna Base Camp, where you’ll be surrounded by a 360-degree view of towering Himalayan peaks, including Annapurna I (8,091m). Explore the base camp and soak in the breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayas.
After a glorious sunrise at ABC, retrace your steps downhill through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, passing back through bamboo and oak forests. Arrive at Bamboo for an overnight stay, resting in the serene forest environment.
Trek downhill towards Jhinu Danda, a village famous for its natural hot springs. Take a relaxing dip in the hot springs along the riverbank, perfect for soothing your muscles after several days of trekking.
Hike down to Nayapul and catch a drive back to Pokhara. Arrive in Pokhara and enjoy a free evening to relax or explore more of the city’s attractions.
Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich biodiversity and wildlife. Upon arrival, check into your jungle lodge and receive a briefing about the upcoming activities. Evening enjoys a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance.
Embark on a jungle safari in search of wildlife, including the one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, and various species of birds. Activities include a jeep safari and jungle walks. Afternoon canoe ride along the Rapti River, where you may spot crocodiles and water birds.
Early morning bird-watching session with an expert guide to spot some of the over 500 bird species found in Chitwan. Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
