The nearest station, Mishima Station, is about one hour from Tokyo by Shinkansen bullet train.
The classroom in Susono City is a 15-minute drive from Mishima Station.

In the “Calligraphy Experience,” participants are given an explanation of the tools used in calligraphy, and begin by rubbing ink with spring water from Mt.Fuji
Mt.Fuji. You will be able to experience calligraphy through all five senses, including the smell of the ink and the feel of the brush.
We will also teach you how to use a brush so that even beginners can enjoy calligraphy.
At the end of the session, participants will enjoy a cup of local Shizuoka tea and take a commemorative photo with their calligraphic works.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We are waiting for you just outside the North Exit of Mishima Station (Shinkansen ticket gate side).
What to expect
(2) After meeting, we will move to my home classroom together. (10-15 minutes by car)
(3) If the weather is clear, you will be able to see Mt.Fuji
(4) Explanation of calligraphy and tools used for calligraphy
(5) Experience of rubbing ink with spring water from Mt.Fuji
(6)Practice drawing lines with a brush(Actual writing with a brush)
(7) Write calligraphy on colored paper (you can take home the colored paper or half-sheet of paper)
(8) After cleaning up, enjoy Shizuoka tea and sweets while taking commemorative photos with the works you have written.
