Table Tea Ceremony is a new cultural experience to enjoy tea ceremony sitting on a chair at a table instead of sitting on the floor.

In the first half of the session, after an explanation of how to enjoy tea, participants will enjoy matcha green tea and seasonal Japanese sweets prepared by the instructor.
*Wagashi changes with the seasons.

In the second half, participants will actually experience making and serving tea using a tea whisk.

By experiencing table tea ceremony, you will gain a proper understanding of Japanese tea ceremony culture and knowledge about matcha and etiquette.

The original tea ceremony involves sitting in seiza, which is very tiring, but you can experience it in a modern way with a table and chairs.

The location of the tour is at Akihabara

This tour is recommended for those who want to understand more about Japanese culture and tea.
