Matcha table tea ceremony experience in Tokyo

The provider, Masumi Matsumoto, is a Master Instructor of the Japan Table Tea Ceremony Association.

Table Tea Ceremony is a new cultural experience to enjoy tea ceremony sitting on a chair at a table instead of sitting on the floor.

In the first half of the session, after an explanation of how to enjoy tea, participants will enjoy matcha green tea and seasonal Japanese sweets prepared by the instructor.

In the second half, participants will actually experience making and serving tea using a tea whisk.

The location of the tour is in Meguro-ku, Tokyo.
In Meguro-ku, there is the Meguro River, a sweets theme park in Jiyugaoka, and Nakameguro Park.

The location is easy to get to as it is a 2-minute walk from Toritsudaigaku Station in Meguro-ku, Tokyo.
