Our meeting point is at KFC, located in the Al Fahidi neighborhood (also known as Al Bastakiya), right next to Peet’s Coffee. It’s near the Al Seef Roundabout in Old Dubai. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can start the tour on time.
Start your walking tour at Al Seef Dubai, a waterfront promenade that beautifully blends heritage architecture with contemporary vibes. You'll stroll through its charming alleyways, admire wind towers, and enjoy photo stops with traditional boats along the Dubai Creek. This area showcases Dubai’s transformation while preserving Emirati soul.
You'll continue your journey along the Dubai Creek Walk, where the city’s history unfolds beside traditional dhows. Soak in the atmosphere as fishermen and traders echo centuries of commerce. The creek has connected Dubai to the world for generations, ideal for photos, especially with the backdrop of sailing boats and bustling trade.
Next, head into the Al Fahidi Historical District (also called Al Bastakiya), one of the oldest neighborhoods in Dubai. Stroll through narrow lanes lined with restored homes, and feel the heritage come alive all around you.
(Photo Stop) Stop for a photo at the Grand Bur Dubai Mosque, one of the city’s largest and most beautiful mosques. Its Islamic architecture and peaceful atmosphere make it a striking visual highlight on our tour.
Next, visit the Old Textile Souk, a vibrant market filled with colorful silks, cottons, scarves, and pashminas. You'll browse the stalls, chat with friendly vendors, and practice your bargaining skills. It’s a fantastic spot to pick up traditional souvenirs in Dubai.
(Photo Stop) We stop for photos outside Dubai Museum, housed in the city's oldest building, Al Fahidi Fort. Even if the museum is under renovation, its historic walls, cannons, and towers still paint a picture of Dubai’s humble beginnings.
You'll explore the lively charm of Meena Bazaar, Dubai’s oldest shopping district, famous for its vibrant textiles, gold, spices, and authentic street vibes. A true local experience, perfect for bargain hunters and culture lovers.
Walk over to the the Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House, the former residence of Dubai’s ruler. This historic home showcases 19th-century Emirati architecture and documents that shaped the city. Whether you explore inside or admire from outside, it’s a window into the ruling family’s legacy.
We’ll pause for photos at Al Shindagha Museum, home to Dubai’s Maritime and Perfume Houses. Even if we don’t go inside, the museum’s charming exteriors and Creekside views make for a picturesque stop.
Hop on a traditional Abra boat and cross Dubai Creek like the locals have for generations. Feel the breeze, enjoy the view, and travel like a true local as we glide from Bur Dubai to Deira.
On the Deira side, we explore Old Baladiya Street, where Dubai’s earliest municipal offices once operated. The architecture tells the story of a young city stepping into modern governance.
We'll visit the Municipality Museum to see how Dubai grew from a small desert town into the modern city it is today. Through interesting displays and old photos, you’ll learn about the city’s planning, development, and the people who helped shape it. It’s a great way to understand how Dubai became a global hub.
Get ready to awaken your senses at the Perfume Souk, where the air is thick with oud, rose, amber, and sandalwood. You’ll meet passionate perfumers who’ve been crafting Arabian fragrances for generations.
Walk into the Gold Souk, a shimmering labyrinth of gold, diamonds, and precious stones. It’s one of the most popular Dubai shopping destinations, and you'll have the chance to snap a photo of the world’s largest gold ring!
We'll end our tour at the fragrant and colorful Spice Souk. Explore sacks of saffron, cinnamon, dried roses, and exotic spices, and learn how these ingredients connected Dubai to traders from across Asia and Africa.
