Todays Cappadocia with its famous underground cities, fairy chimneys, cave hotels, hot air balloon trips and with many more sightseeing excursions, enjoys increasing popularity among foreign visitors all over the world.
We pick up guests from hotel or at requested pick up point
Very early morning before sunrise, we will pick you up from your hotel/address and arrange the transfer service to İstanbul airport. Arrival at the Airport after your check inn, you will take first flight available from İstanbul airport to Kayseri Airport. Driver will wait for you at the arrival exit gate with your name on signboard and drive to your hotel in Göreme. At your arrival to the hotel, we will ask if any availability for early check in, if not we can hand the luggage to hotel reception. You will be meet & greeted by your tour guide and join the group tour . Tour starting times generally between 10:00hrs - 16:00hrs.
Paşabağ also known as the Monks Valley, whereyou will see conical columns resembling fairy chimneys, which were used for both homes and Orthodox churches of hermits. Fairy chimneys are very famous for Cappadocia and talked about even by those who have not seen them.
The name "Devrent Valley" means "pit and cliff". The valley is completely filled with fascinating views, where we can witness natural rocks with strange formations also known as the valley of Immaginaton. See the fairy chimneys, which resemble many animal figures, as if you were walking outside the zoo. Giant fairy chimneys in camel shapes are one of the most important symbols of the valley. There are also human figures in the valley where we witness the sculptural art of nature.
Göreme Open Air Museum is a rock settlement located 2 kilometers east of Göreme town and it has been on UNESCO's World Heritage List as a natural and cultural asset. There was an intense monastic life from the 4th century AD to the 13th century. There are churches, chapels, dining halls and seating areas in almost every rock block.
After lunch at a local restaurant in the village of Avanos, along the Kızılırmak (Red River) we will explore some of the most famous Turkish crafts. Ceramic clay obtained from the red soil and silt brought by Kızılırmak is shaped by the hands of ceramic artists from Avanos. The tradition of ceramic making in the district, which has many pottery workshops, has been continuing since the Hittites.
Our last stop of the day is Üçhisar castle, the tallest chimney in Cappadocia. It is the largest and most beautiful fairy chimney seen from all over Cappadocia. The summit of the castle is the only place where Cappadocia can be seen from a bird's eye view, so the whole of Cappadocia is at your feet.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken to your hotel and there will be clean and comfortable room waiting for you.
We will start our second day tour with Love Valley offering a beautiful panoramic view of Göreme.
Red Valley (Kızıl Vadi) is one of the most stunning, rewarding, and remarkable places to visit in Cappadocia. It gets its name from the vivid red rock that covers the valley’s landscape
Çavuşin Village, located on the Göreme-Avanos road and a touristic and charming village of Cappadocia, is also one of the oldest settlements in Cappadocia. The Christians who lived here during the period created living spaces for themselves in the cavities they dug into the fairy chimneys in the region in order to escape from the pressure of the Romans and practice their religion more comfortably.
A huge underground city that has been used for thousands of years, about 85 meters below the famous fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. This structure, buried 85 meters deep and consisting of 18 floors of tunnels and the rooms they open, is the largest underground city in the world. The ancient city, known today as Derinkuyu and remaining hidden for centuries, was built on many floors and had the capacity to hide 20 thousand people from sight for months.
After these visits, we will have lunch at a local restaurant and finally head to our last stop of the day. The valley of Doves (Pigeon Valley) a beautiful valley inhabited by numerous doves and unique rock formations. Pigeon Valley is famous in Cappadocia due to all the small pigeon dwellings that are carved into rockfaces.
At the end of the tour, your guide will assist you to meet back with driver and driver will take you to Kayseri Airport. You will be boarding the first available flight back to İstanbul. On your arrival back to İstanbul airport driver will meet you and take you back to your hotel/address.
