This is a unique way of visiting the highlands with a semi-private tour. This tour has a leisure pace and we allow for ample time at each stop to explore and linger to explore your interests.
Meeting point is at the north-west parking lot area, near Morrisons shop.
We'll explore the museum and walk the battlefield. The events that happened here changed the course for so many families that resulted in the migration of the scots throughout the world. We'll see and learn how your ancestors were impacted and the paths they followed after this significant event.
We'll drive along the banks of Loch Ness and stop at Urquhart Castle to walk through it's ruins and learn more about the legends of this area.
This picturesque castle and it's prominent position has been photographed countless times. We'll walk over the stone bridge, tour through the castle and take in the views across the highland loch's. We'll make sure to save some time for a little shopping at the wonderful visitors center here.
We'll start our journey around Skye with our first stop at Glen Brittle to visit the natural pools that have formed in Allt Coir' a' Mhadaidh (burn or stream of the wolf).
We'll visit the home and seat of the great chief of McLeod and walk the halls that contain much of the history of this area. We'll take a quick boat ride out to see the sea lion colony in the nearby bay.
We'll take a stop here to walk around and capture photographs of the picturesque landscape here.
The bold landscape of this area is a favorite stop for many on our tour. Unique natural features, hills, mountains and glens. We'll spend some time exploring and taking pictures.
Let's walk the short trail that leads us to the view point of the unusual cliff in the formation of a pleated kilt. Often time's we'll find small black faced sheep along the way. The view to Mealt Falls can also been seen from this location
A quick stop to take in the view and capture some memorable photos of this famous rock formation.
We'll finish our day with a walk through the village of Portree with opportunities to shop the local shops filled with crafts and locally made products.
Here is where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard that began the Jacobite Rebellion that would eventually be crushed and change the lives of all scotts. We'll tour the visitors center, look up at the lone highlander at the memorial and enjoy the views of the sea at Lochaber. We'll also take time to view the Glenfinnan Viaduct that has been featured in many movies, including Harry Potter.

We'll drive through the area known as the Great Glen and talk about the highlanders that once lived throughout this beautiful area.
We'll stop here to grab a highland lunch. Shopping is also available here.
We'll stop at the small village of Luss and learn more about this famous loch.
