What to expect

Travelers will take part in an immersive hands-on workshop dedicated to the traditional Neapolitan sfogliatella, in the heart of Via San Gregorio Armeno, inside a historic 14th-century building that preserves the spirit of Naples’ artisan traditions. The experience begins with a theatrical storytelling introduction about the history, legends, and curiosities of this iconic pastry. Guided by a Maitre Sfogliatellier, guests will learn the main techniques, prepare the traditional filling inspired by ancient convent recipes, and shape the pastry by hand. They will discover the differences between the classic sfogliatella riccia and the historic Santa Patrizia version. While the pastries are baking, participants will enjoy a guided tasting of Neapolitan sweets, coffee, and local liqueurs. At the end, each guest will receive a certificate of participation and a small souvenir kit to remember the experience.
