IF opted for the Ginza and Palace add-on tour, we will walk thru Ginza, see the imperial palace and ultimately release you at Tokyo Stn.
At TSUKIJI, we will focus on exploring Japanese cuisine from the market perceptive, take a glimpse of Japanese religion from a market aspect, learn what the Tsukiji market was for the Edo people, historically & politically.
Your lunch will be a casual one at a local sushi place. Not fancy, simply something the locals enjoy.
We will meet you just outside at the Tsukiji Honganji Cafe Entrance
We will show you the way to go to Shiodome Station or Tsukiji Ichiba Station.
See an unique Buddhist temple built by an internationally minded Japanese architect in the early 20th century and learn the history behind it
See the Tsukiji and Odaiba area from above from an observatory area should we have time.
We will walk thru the maze of streets of the Tsukiji Outer Market where the local chefs bought their produce. We will try two or three local delicacies to help you experience Japanese food in the form of street food
We will explore the Fish market the market members that reminded in Tsukiji instead of moving to the new Toyosu Fish Market. We will see Japanese cooking utensils, knives and the early catch as the local Japanese sees this.
We will pass thru a major liberal newspaper building and Theater.
We will have lunch at an eating place within the Tsukiji Fish Market
