Our Gin experience gives you a chance to explore three coastal gins. Native to St Andrews. Your experience will kick off with a classic gin & tonic before guests will be taken through a guided tasting flight. As you learn about each distinctive gin, you will have the opportunity to learn about some of the key coastal botanicals - many of which are sourced local to St Andrews. After the flight, you will select your favourite gin and our host will help you create a ‘perfect serve’ that’s designed to complement and enhance its flavour profile.

Our gin tasting experience at the heads and tails bar Edinburgh is located in the basement level of the Huxley Hotel, accessible from Rutland street directly. Simply head down the staircase which is signposted and our hosts will welcome you on arrival.

What to expect

This interactive experience gives you a chance to explore three of our most loved spirits - Original Gin, Love Gin and Golf Gin. As the name suggests, each of these gins takes its inspiration from the iconic Fife coastline which has inspired their origin story and the botanicals used in distillation.

Your experience will kick off with a classic gin & tonic using our Original Gin before embarking on a guided tasting flight. As you learn about each distinctive product, you will have the opportunity to learn about some of the key coastal botanicals - many of which are sourced local to St Andrews.

After the flight, you will select your favourite gin and our host will help you create a ‘perfect serve’ that’s designed to complement and enhance its flavour profile. One of the serves includes an as-of-yet unreleased product that adds a sweet and smoky taste profile to your gin!
