Upon request, a scenic boat or ferry ride from Riomaggiore to Portovenere can be arranged at the client’s own expense. In the afternoon, the tour proceeds toward Pisa to admire the world-renowned Piazza dei Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, Cathedral, and Baptistery. Please note that the ticket to climb the Leaning Tower, as well as any optional boat or ferry tickets, are not included in the tour price. After this unforgettable experience, return to Florence, concluding a day filled with beauty, culture, and authentic Italian charm.

The journey from Florence lasts approximately 2 hours, the first visit will be at Manarola, a magnificent village, UNESCO heritage site, part of the beautiful coastal villages of the Cinque Terre. You will have time to walk the narrow streets, admire the views and enjoy coastal village life, and have a beautiful breakfast in the meantime that the town gets crowded, maybe some souvenir too. Then continue to Riomaggiore with the ferry that connects the coastal villages. (Operation varies depending on weather)
After visiting Manarola, we continue with the second village Riomaggiore. Built on the cliff face, with the castle that dominates the coast from the strategic position, and the church of S. Giovanni dating XIII century as a memory of its medieval history and its houses with colorful facades make it unique. Don't miss a swim in the small pebble stone beach of Rio, it's beautiful.
After visiting the picturesque villages of Manarola and Riomaggiore, the journey continues along the Ligurian coast to the enchanting town of Portovenere. Its pastel-colored houses rising above the harbor create a postcard-perfect view, while the Church of San Pietro, dramatically set on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea, offers breathtaking panoramas. Portovenere perfectly embodies the harmony between man and nature, art and landscape, making it a memorable stop before continuing the scenic drive toward Pisa.
In the afternoon, from Cinque Terre and 1,5 hour driving towards Pisa, you will arrive at the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 where you can admire the beauty of the Pisan Romanesque architecture as a whole of the monumental complex, will be able to visit the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Camposanto together with the famous Leaning Tower. (tickets to enter the cathedral and the Tower are not included) And after this visit full with memories and discoveries, we will continue driving towards Florence at the end of our journey.
