We continue to the Miradouro da Lagoa do Fogo, one of the most emblematic places in São Miguel, with a privileged view over the magnificent lake located inside the crater of a volcano. Surrounded by green mountains and natural vegetation, Lagoa do Fogo stands out for its turquoise waters and the beauty of the protected landscape. Discover the natural beauty of Caldeira Velha, one of the most emblematic parks in São Miguel, located on the slopes of the Fogo volcano. During this stop, you will have time to explore the park trails, surrounded by lush vegetation, giant ferns, and volcanic landscapes. You can observe the hot springs, the geothermal manifestations, and the famous natural waterfall. This experience includes only the visit to the park, without baths in the thermal pools. The entrance ticket is not included in the tour price.

At this last stop, you can choose between two different experiences, according to your interests. Option 1 – Visit to the city of Ribeira Grande: Discover the charm of the second largest city of São Miguel, known for its historic architecture, churches, traditional streets, and connection to Azorean culture. Take the opportunity to stroll through the historic center, see its main monuments, and take pictures. Option 2 – Visit to a liqueur factory: Discover one of São Miguel's gastronomic traditions through a visit to a regional liqueur factory, where you can discover the island's typical flavors and participate in a liqueur tasting. Note: The liqueur factory is closed on Sundays. On this day, the stop will be dedicated to visiting the city of Ribeira Grande.
