Get ready for the ultimate adventure with our 3-day trip through Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This tour combines the best of nature, wildlife, and culture in Tanzania.
On day 1, we'll embark on a thrilling safari through Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse wildlife (elephants, giraffes, kudu, zebras) and stunning landscapes.
Day 2 will bring us to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into this natural wonder and witness the abundant wildlife that call it home, including rhinos, hippos, lions and zebras. Marvel at the breathtaking views of the crater as we soak up the beauty of this unique ecosystem.
On our final day, we'll visit Materuni Village, a hidden gem nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Immerse yourself in the local culture of Chagga people, take a hike to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, thereafter join your hosts to learn about coffee cultivation.

1Tarangire National Park
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and take you to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive, complete with a picnic lunch. The park, Tanzania's third largest, is renowned for its towering baobab trees that provide shade for the animals below. The Tarangire River is a key feature of the park and is home to one of the largest herd of elephants in Africa without forgetting the large mammal population, and variety of bird species. After the game drive, you will be transferred to your accommodation at Karatu or Mto wa Mbu for a delicious dinner and rest.

2Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, embark on a 1-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exhilarating wildlife viewing experience. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is renowned as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and the crater serves as a crucial refuge for a diverse array of animals. During your visit, you are likely to encounter majestic elephant bulls and the endangered black rhino. Additionally, the crater is inhabited by large herds of wildebeest and zebra, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, as well as nearly 400 species of birds. Lunch will be served on the crater floor.

3Materuni Waterfalls
After finishing your breakfast at the hotel, the guide will pick you up and head over to Materuni Village. Make sure to check in at the village office upon arrival, to begin your day of adventure. Your first destination will be the waterfalls, located a short 40-minute walk away. Be sure to pack your swimwear, as the pool at the base of the falls is ideal for a refreshing swim. After taking in the stunning views, take a relaxed stroll back to Materuni Village with your guide. Here, you will enjoy a traditional Chagga lunch and have the opportunity to try some local banana beer. Next up is the coffee experience, where you will learn all about the process of growing, drying, roasting, and preparing coffee. You can even join in on grinding the coffee while being entertained by Chagga music and dance—a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Finally, after this beautiful cultural experience, you will be transferred to your hotel of choice in Arusha or the airport.
