  We will start this gastronomic tour in the heart of Alicante products: the Central Market. A space full of life where you will meet first hand the best butchers, fishmongers, bakers and local producers, with the freshest product of the day. With more than 100 years of history, this iconic market is one of the largest in Spain in square meters. During the visit, we will enjoy a typical snack while discovering the flavors and gastronomic tradition of Alicante. In case the tour takes place in the afternoon or on Sunday, when the Central Market is closed, this stop will be replaced by the visit to a traditional bar, where we will also enjoy a typical Alicante snack.

  After this appetizer, we will take a walk of about 60 minutes through the center of Alicante, during which we will discover its history, culture and origins. Through its most iconic streets, squares and corners, we will learn how Muslim influence has marked the identity of the city and left a deep mark on our culture and gastronomy.

  The next stop is one of the oldest and most traditional bars in Alicante, serving the same tapas since its opening. Why change what works? Here you will enjoy the authentic tapas and pitxos of Alicante: with fresh and local ingredients, cooked simply and served hot. Sample its famous croquettes, salad and pintxos, all accompanied by a rustic red wine that completes it.

  As we walk through the streets of the old town, I will tell you how Alicante has changed over the years. Those little stories and curiosities are what make the tour not only about food, but about the real city, beyond the postcard.

  An Alicantino feast in a traditional restaurant. We will finish the experience with a traditional Alicante tapas in a family restaurant where several generations have worked. Croquettes, potatoes, tortilla, ai-oli, fried fish... an authentic selection of great classics of local cuisine, paired with an intense wine with local wine with Mediterranean aroma. Finish your experience by savoring the most traditional sweets of the city city. When we say goodbye, you will not only have eaten at some of the most emblematic places in the city : you will also understand how gastronomy and history are intertwined in each bite.
