You will have private transportation with a nice Moroccan driver. This will give you time to stop, look around, and really experience Moroccan culture.
You can cross the High Atlas Mountains, sleep under the stars in a Berber camp, ride horses through the desert, and do other things on your way to Marrakech. It has the right amount of culture, nature, and excitement, and the warm Moroccan hospitality and stunning views make it even better.
we will pick up you at your place and will confirm the pick up place along with time 1 day before your tour starts
When you get to Tangier, your driver will meet you and take you on a trip through northern Morocco. Tetouan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its mix of Andalusian and Moorish styles, is the first place you will visit. It is a beautiful white and blue city. Before going to the Rif Mountains, take a walk through its busy medina and look at the beautiful buildings from the Spanish era. By afternoon, you'll be in Chefchaouen, the "magical blue pearl" of Morocco. With its narrow streets, bright blue walls, and calm mood, it's one of the most photogenic towns in the country. After you check into your riad, take it easy and spend the evening visiting the old medina at your own pace.
After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and drive through the scenic countryside toward the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, one of Morocco’s most important archaeological sites. Explore the well-preserved mosaics, temples, and triumphal arches that once formed part of this prosperous Roman city. Continue your journey through the imperial landscapes toward Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and unwind in a traditional riad tucked inside the medina.
Today, you will go on a walking tour of Fes with a licensed local guide. In the Fes el-Bali medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site full of busy souks, old madrasas, and art studios, you can feel like you've gone back in time. The Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University is one of the oldest universities in the world. You can also look at the beautiful tiles in the Bou Inania Madrasa. Visit the tanneries to see how brightly colored leather is made and see how traditional skills have been passed down from generation to generation. You can see a lot of the old city in the afternoon, and then you can go back to your riad for a free evening.
After breakfast, depart Fes and journey south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco” for its clean streets and alpine-style architecture. Continue through cedar forests near Azrou, home to the playful Barbary macaque monkeys, then drive toward Midelt, known for its apple orchards and mountain scenery. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert await. Enjoy a camel ride across the dunes to your desert camp and witness a breathtaking sunset over the sand. Dinner will be served under the starry sky accompanied by local Berber music. Overnight in a comfortable desert camp.
Get up early to see the desert turn gold and orange as the sun comes up. After breakfast, take a camel ride back to the village of Merzouga. Then, drive toward Tinghir, a beautiful valley town at the base of the Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the beautiful desert scenery, palm groves, and traditional mud-brick towns along the way. In the afternoon, you should go to the stunning Todra Gorges, which have sheer limestone cliffs that rise dramatically above the riverbed. This is a great place for nature fans and photographers. Stay the night in a cute hotel with a view of the valley.
After breakfast, keep going on your trip through the dramatic High Atlas area, passing through beautiful mountain passes and small Berber villages. You can choose to stop at Ait Ben Haddou village, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its clay kasbahs and has been in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Before you get to the lively city of Marrakech, you have to cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which is 2,260 meters high and has great views of the mountains. Dropping you off at your hotel at the end of the tour marks the end of an amazing trip in Morocco.
