You will be welcomed at Ucagiz Harbor by our YourTourKey team, who will personally escort you to your boat. At the harbor we’ll meet you and provide a brief orientation before starting our tour.
Our first stop after leaving the harbor is Akvaryum Bay, where we take a break for tea and swimming. Akvaryum Bay is one of the most beautiful spots in Kekova, known for its crystal-clear water.
Next, we arrive at Tersane Bay, the only spot in the Sunken City area where swimming is allowed. The bay features a natural beach where you can go ashore and explore the ancient ruins up close.
We now reach the famous Sunken City of Kekova, a unique archaeological site protected by UNESCO. As the boat slows down, you’ll have the chance to observe the ancient ruins of this Lycian settlement, which slipped into the sea after a series of earthquakes in the 2nd century AD. Swimming is not allowed here, but you can enjoy impressive views of the submerged streets, staircases, and buildings from the deck.
Our next stop is Burc Bay, a tranquil spot known for its clean sandy beach and crystal-clear sea. A natural spring flows into the bay, adding to its refreshing atmosphere. From the beach, you can spot Simena’s ancient watchtower perched at the top of the hill, offering a unique view of the area.
Our next stop is Hamidiye Bay, a picturesque spot with a rich history. The bay is named after Sultan Abdulhamid II, whose battleship once anchored here. While enjoying beautiful views of Kalekoy from the boat, you’ll be served a delicious lunch featuring barbecue specialties and fresh fish.
Our next stop is Simena (Kaleköy), a charming coastal village accessible only by sea—there are no roads leading here. Home to just 80 residents, Simena is famous for its hilltop castle, which offers stunning panoramic views of the Kekova region. During our one-hour stop, you’ll have the chance to hike up to the ancient Simena Castle, explore dozens of Lycian rock tombs along the way, and admire the iconic sarcophagus standing in the sea. This is a unique opportunity to observe the daily life of the local community and wander through the small market, where you can purchase handmade products crafted by villagers.
Our final stop is Kocakarı Bay, where we take a swimming break and serve fresh fruit before heading back.
