Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) is an impressive congregation of natural magnificence covering a large area of UNESCO world heritage site and is known for its historic, scenic, and recreational significance. This park has much more in store for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike. It is very rich in floral biodiversity featuring indigenous critters and colorful fynbos and is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom.

A descent via “Platteklip Gorge” offers spectacular views of Cape Town, the “Devil's Peak”, Robben Island, and the surrounding ocean, and the imposing cliffs within the gorge create a dramatic and grand atmosphere, especially in the upper reaches. The cascading stream during Winter, colorful proteas in Spring and the historical significance of the route add to its appeal.
