It’s nestled in an old building that’s seen generations, offering a warm, intimate place to really connect with Portugal’s soul through its music. Here, it’s all about the connection—between you, the music, and the performers. Our local renowned artists and university students, passionate about the Coimbra's Fado style - created and preserved by them - bring their deep passion to every performance. In this welcoming atmosphere, no two nights are the same, as our artists lean into the art of improvisation, the very essence of Fado. The performances come alive, spontaneous and unrehearsed, making every evening a unique journey. This spontaneity not only showcases the talent and creativity of our performers but also allows for a deeply personal and communal experience, as the you will become part of the live creation process.
