What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Please, make sure to fill-out the required information regarding to your Arrivals including your Pickup Transfer at SJO Intl. Airport Juan Santamaría and Destination location in Monteverde. Information such as flight number, date, time and hotel name are the minimum required to operate your airport shuttle services and avoid delays or cancelations. The day trip, we will monitor your flight number through regular APPs in order to be on time with your pickup and departure. Besides of Viator Chat, our preferred communication tools with you will be WhatsApp Chat/Calls, regular Phone calls or Waze/Google Maps. If you are traveling with children under 12 years old or less than 1.45cms height/36KG, He/She will require the use of baby car seats or boosters, please, request it in advance before the traveling day at no cost for you. If a booster seat or baby car seat for children is needed but you didn't request it prior to your trip, we may be forced to delay or cancel the trip due to Costa Rican laws requiring the use of it. (Conditioned to availability) It's important to highlight that our services are not On-Demand or immediate response service type .Our airport transportation services type require preparation for the driver and the vehicle to guarantee the proper service needs for you and your party. Our van is 12 passengers capacity so, in some rides, the driver will be traveling with an assistant to support and provide value added to your private shuttle service trip at no cost for you. Once your International flight landed the next step is Immigration and Baggage Claim that could it takes 25 minutes or more than 1 hour by passing through the outside passenger exit doors area. International flights departing always require to be at the Airport at least 3 hours before the flight departure time for check-in registration please, estimate your flight departure time plus the time of this trip to meet this requirement on time. We offer sanitizers to comply with health government regulations requirements. Finally, cancellations are free with full refund if made 24 hours before your trip or reschedule it.
What to expect
Once your reservation is done, we will be in touch with you via Viator Chat to make sure all the arrangements needed are ready for your trip to Monteverde/SJO Airport in Costa Rica.
We will send you a traveler information 24-48 hours before the flight time or trip for a smooth transition from the SJO Intl. Airport Juan Santamaría shuttle to your destination, we will also share our WhatsApp number to be in contact with the driver directly.
Our driver, representative or vehicle will be holding a sign with your name to find you out easily.
At the Airport, our meet and greet will be in Malinche's Restaurant located inside of the SJO Airport facilities a few steps of the passenger arrivals exit.
At your Hotel or Rented Property in Monteverde, our meet and greet will be at the lobby, reception desk or parking lot of your accomodation.
Once met, it will be time to start the airport transfer trip to your destination in Monteverde or SJO Airport in our spacious and comfortable branded new Van with AC, reclinable seats, USB Port chargers and big windows to enjoy the ride.
So, in order to make you feel like "At Home", we will offer you a courtesy drink such as Bottled Water or fruits Juice.
Additionally, our multilingual English/Portuguese/Spanish drivers will point you out about the attractions on the road to take a picture, talk about the area, guide and immerse you about Costa Rica nature and culture to make a memorable trip with us.
For long distance trips, we will ask you if needed to do some stretching, go to the restroom, etc. We can make a 15 minutes stop at no cost for you in restaurants, convenience store or gas stations along the road, food or snacks are not included in this trip offer however, you can buy it at your own expenses at the place we stop. (Stops are subject to conditions like weather or business hours)
The recommended Stops can occur in El Caballo Blanco, Palenque Garabito, El Gran Parqueo restaurant or similar place along the road. (Subject to conditions like weather or business hours)
We will continue the trip talking about Costa Rica attractions until arrive to your destination in Monteverde or SJO Airport, once there, our driver will help you with the luggage and drop you off the nearest possible of your accomodation/airport in order to make sure you are secure and everything is fine with your destination.
