This is one of the oldest historical paths which people used many years ago as a shortcut to Palácio do Pena. On our trail, we are going to walk through the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park - a special protected area with eucalyptus and pine forests, as well as diverse and picturesque flora.

We will walk through the enchanting Vila Sassetti garden, which is harmoniously integrated into the landscape of Sintra. Vila Sassetti has a little palace and garden. Here, most of the decorative plants commonly found in the gardens of this region are showcased. Additionally, Vila Sassetti features a hidden viewpoint offering an excellent view of the valley of the Sintra hills. There I'll explain what common between Villa Sassety and Italy and how it is connected with one of the most beautiful art collections in Lisbon.
