This is a typical itinerary for this product which goes as follows: After our pick at 08:00. We start our scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other side, passing through Three Anchor Bay, Bantry Bay, Clifton and stop in Camps Bay. Maiden's Cove is a great spot to take photos of the magnificent views of the Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay beach with its view of the Atlantic Ocean. Dolphins can often be spotted in the water during the months of June to November, it’s fantastic for whale watching as well.
Should you choose to take the optional boat trip to Seal Island where you would come across over a thousand Seals on the Island, you don’t get off the boat during the trip, the duration will be 45-minutes. This also depends with the weather and the seas is calm. you can get up close from a glass-bottomed boat and observe these playful creatures in their natural habitat.
Departing from Hout Bay, we drive along Chapman's Peak! This iconic mountain pass on the Cape Peninsula offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Cruise along the scenic 9km route with 114 curves, you can capture epic ocean views. Stop at the viewpoint for spectacular photos. It is little wonder that Chapman's Peak is one of the most scenic routes in the world.
We continue our coastal journey with an optional stop in Noordhoek, with the breathtaking views of Noordhoek and Long Beach beneath us. Travelers will have the option to enjoy some of the best coffee brewed in Cape Town at the Farm Village or some fresh squeezed juice on their own account. Its a charming spot perfect for a relaxing break.
We explore the Cape of Good Hope and take our iconic photo with the Cape of Good Hope name board. Here we will also explore the Dias & Vasco Da Gama monuments. There are also beautiful beaches that you will see along the way, as well as various fauna and flora. Also Look out for baboons and ostriches.
From the Cape of Good Hope we will drive to Cape Point. Arriving at Cape Point we will have a choice between a 15-minute hike or take the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the Historic Cape Point lighthouse. The Old Lighthouse is an historic gem with epic views! Built in 1860, it's one of South Africa's oldest lighthouses.
Our next and last stop will be the Penguins colony in Boulders beach, where your guide will escort you to the viewing point to see some of the 2500 breeding pairs of African Penguins at close range. You may even find one or two of these enchanting creatures walking alongside you on the boardwalk.
