Oshino Hakkai, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site "Mount Fuji," is composed of eight ponds known as the Oshino Hakkai Ponds. I think the atmosphere is like a small version of village from the movie "Princess Mononoke." These ponds called the original Japanese landscape show the crystal-clear water flowing from Mount Fuji underground. Actually you can drink it!!
Fujiyoshida's top Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine has over 1900 years of history, alongside Mount Fuji. It's part of Mount Fuji's UNESCO World Heritage site. Ancient trees, like the "Fujitaro Cedar" and "Married Couple Hinoki," stand by the main hall, showing nature's grandeur. Hikers start their Mount Fuji journey from this shrine, a sacred place for praying for a safe and successful ascent. Guides offer insights into its history and highlights with our original guide files so you will get to know Japanese culture and Mount Fuji.
