    Chashma

    Starting the day with drive to East, to the old oasis of Nur, modern city Nurata. Nurata is located between Samarkand and Bukhara and it serves as the connecting hub between these destinations. The city was taken over by Alexander the Great in 4th century B.C. and became the fortified town to his North West part of his empire. We will visit the ruins of this fortified wall. Also as the name “Nur Ata” means “Father of the Ray” the town contains the holy spring – “Chashma” with the mosque and other structures. After the visit we have lunch at local chayhana (tea house) and continue to Yurt Camp with stop at Aydarkul lake.

    Yurt Camp-Bukhara

    Sardoba Malik

    Sardoba Malik was built in the 13th century. The depth of the reservoir reaches 13 meters. Sardoba is covered with a dome, the diameter of which is 12 meters. At the bottom you can see three light windows.

    Gijduvan Craft Center • Visit the Gijduvan Craft Center, where you can observe local artisans at work, and even purchase handcrafted pottery, textiles, and other unique crafts as souvenirs. • Take a break and enjoy lunch in Gijduvan at a local restaurant, savoring freshly prepared Uzbek dishes. Try shashlik, manti (dumplings), and freshly baked bread that’s a staple of Uzbek cuisine.
