Alternatively, we can provide direct pick-up from nearby airports, such as Julius Nyerere International Airport. Clients must confirm their pick-up location in advance, and our driver will be there at least one hour before the tour begins.

1Mikumi National Park
Your day trip to Mikumi National Park begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam by our professional driver-guide at 4:30 AM. You will embark on a scenic 5-hour drive to the park, passing through charming villages and the Uluguru Mountains. Upon arrival around 9:30 AM, you will begin an exciting game drive, exploring Mikumi’s diverse landscapes and spotting a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, wildebeests, hippos, and numerous bird species. Around midday, you will take a break for a packed bush lunch at a designated picnic site inside the park, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After lunch, the adventure continues with another game drive, covering different areas of the park, such as the famous Mkata Plains, often compared to the Serengeti for its rich wildlife. By 3:30 PM, you will begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam, arriving at your hotel in Dar es salaam.
