Join us on our Street Art Tour and Workshop, where we take you on a journey through Hamburg's most creative districts. You will discover amazing street art and graffiti works by local and international artists.

After a short break we start begin the workshop - at one of Hamburg's most creative urban spaces where you can try it out yourself!

This exciting workshop offers an opportunity for your group to unleash their creativity while strengthening bonds working together. Through a series of hands-on exercises and demonstrations, you will acquire essential street art skills, including stencil creation, spray can techniques, color blending, and unique mark-making methods. At the end of the workshop, you will walk away with your own personalized street art masterpiece.

Your group will learn artistic skills and also build trust, enhance communication and strengthen their bond as a cohesive unit.
This activity is both a wonderful visual and hands on experience.

Location Name: Sternschanze station Location Address: Sternschanze, 20357 Hamburg, Germany Directions: You will meet by the small square directly opposite the S-Bahn exit of the Sternschanze station. There are two exits for this station, so please ensure you exit via the S-Bahn exit (and not the U-Bahn). After exiting the station (there will be a juice stand to your left), cross the road directly in front of you to the paved area with street benches and a small rotunda/hut. S-Bahn lines: S31, S21 tube lines: 2 Return Location: Concludes near the Gänsemarkt's metro station in the city's center

What to expect

Meet your guide near the Sternschanze station in early afternoon to begin the first leg of the tour, a 1-hour walk through the district of Sternschanze, then closer to Sankt Pauli, then be lead through Katoviertel and on to the city center. Along the way you will see all different styles of street art and graffiti. The guide will also explain the historical backgrounds of the areas as you get insight into the subcultures, and learn about gentrification and other political movements. The guides are experienced in guiding and workshop-running, and are English or German natives to provide you the best experience.

After getting some inspiration from the streets, you will then start your 2-hour workshop in an old factory building at Gängeviertel, a former squatter building in the city center. Experienced street artists will show you the different graffiti and street art techniques. Using cutters, markers, and spray-paint you will create your first street-art piece that you can carry back home (or leave it somewhere in the streets).

The workshop and end of the tour is close to metro station Gänsemarkt, right in the city's center.
