You can draw various lines using a brush: thick or thin, blurred or fainted. It makes written letters art.

Shodo means a way of writing and is a kind of meditation that concentrates on writing letters. When you write letters with a brush, your mind stops working because you need significant concentration, and your inner spirit starts to work. It is like Zen meditation, which involves writing letters.

You can write your favorite letters on a square piece of thick paper and take them home as souvenirs. It could be your name or letters such as love, dream, or beauty.

You can also buy a Shodo work written by a Shodo master, which was exhibited at the museum.
