The meeting point is at Eendrachtsplein / Oude Binnenweg 137: in front of the statue of Santa Claus. The guide will have a YELLOW Rottourdam umbrella. You can reach this place by tram (4, 6, 8) and metro (A/B/C). From the cruise terminal, tram 5 or 3, or metro D/E.

Het Scheepvaartkwartier (the Maritime Quarter) is a hidden gem outside the city center; a place that many Rotterdamers do not even know. Here you will experience the feeling of openness and spaciousness of this beautiful port city! From the banks of the Maas River, you can see the New York Hotel, Rotterdam Steam and Erasmusbrug.
The Erasmus bridge is the big white bridge, crossing the river Meuse (Maas) and connecting north to south. It is an icon to the city and here you will hear all about the Second World War, the invasion, and bombardment of Rotterdam.
In the Maritime District you will find many centuries-old ships, the last of their kind. We’ll walk through this open-air museum, and you’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time!

Cube Houses are perhaps one of the most famous tourist spots in the city. You will learn all about why, how and its architecture. You will walk through the "concrete forest" on your way to the market square.
After visiting the market square, we will finish the tour inside Markthal. This made Rotterdam even more famous, and it is a modern indoor market with lots of food and colors! We also call it our modern Sistine Chapel, and you’ll find out why!
