One can’t say that they’ve truly explored Tasmania without visiting the big three: Hobart, Port Arthur and Bruny Island. This three-day tour will make sure you get the full Tassie experience by guiding you on an epic journey around Tasmania's south.
Day 1: Covers all of Hobart’s key attractions: Mt Wellington, Bonorong, Richmond, city highlights tour and Salamanca market (This tour is only on Saturdays to include the market).
Day 2: Bruny island - Arguably Tasmania's best day trip! This magical Island has a little piece of everything Tasmania has: World class beaches, rugged coastline and native wildlife matched with the finest local produce from the ocean and the land - a tour you do not want to miss! You will see firsthand why Bruny Island is one of Tasmania’s most popular tourist destinations.
Day 3: The Port Arthur and Tasman Sights tour - Eagehawk Neck, Pirates Bay, Dog Line Monument, Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry, Lavender Farm, Port Arthur Historic Site and Remarkable Cave.

Whilst the streets are quiet, we will take you on a city highlights tour from the comfort of the bus. We will see the gorgeous colonial and sandstone buildings that occupy the streets of Hobart, such as the historic Cascade brewery. Accompanied with live audio from your guide, this is the perfect orientation to your stay in Hobart.
Breathe in the famous pristine Tasmanian air as we drive up the 1272m to the pinnacle of Mount Wellington (Kunanyi) where you will be greeted by the very best view of Hobart and surrounds. We will have ample time to wander around and capture that perfect selfie! If it is a rainy day or the mountain is shrouded in cloud, we will take you to an alternative lookout so you don't miss out on Hobart's beautiful vistas.
It is now time for Salamanca Market (Saturday only) - Tasmania's #1 tourist attraction! This world class market offers the best of Tassie culture - art, produce, buskers, souvenirs, beverages and much more! Join the locals as you stroll the stalls in search of gifts while sipping on a coffee and eating some breakfast. This is the closest you will get to becoming a local. The atmosphere is chilled and the experience is unforgettable.
Step back in time as you explore the rich convict township of Richmond. Home to Australia's oldest bridge and Catholic Church. A interesting little stop famous for its bespoke shops and eateries.
Free cheese sampling from the award winning local cheese maker Wicked Cheese.
Get up close and personal with all the unique Australian wildlife. An experience you will never forget as you walk through this beautifully put together animal rescue sanctuary. Here you will see Tasmanian Devils, Kangaroos, Wombats, Koalas and many more famous and fluffy animals. Cost $33.50 pp.
Step into this temperate rain forest and smell the clean crisp air while taking in mother natures vibes. This 20 minute return walk will give you an idea of the many environments on this magnificent Island.
Spend 30 minutes exploring picturesque Cape Bruny with the second oldest original tower in Australia.

The largest little sea side town on the Island. Spend some time on the famous beach that has seen some of the worlds most famous explorers land.
Another opportunity to taste some of Bruny's premium produce. Bruny Island Cheese Company is a great spot to grab a tasting or purchase some cheese to enjoy later on
On route to Port Arthur, we will stop at Eaglehawk Neck’s Pirate Bay lookout and the Dog Line monument to soak up the scenery and have a photo opportunity or two!
The next stop will have the mouths of sweet tooths watering as we visit the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry.
The beautiful Port Arthur Lavender Farm. Explore the unique handmade products made from Tasmanian Lavender and take a stroll around the scenic lavender trail.
Immerse yourself in the fascinating, rich and dark history of the best-preserved penal settlement in Australia. Admission is at own cost and entry fee will include a 35-minute guided walking tour and a 20-minute harbour cruise. Stay the full 4 hours or hop back on the bus after 3 hours for one more experience: Maingon Bay and the Remarkable Cave.
You will be greeted with the spectacular vista of Maingon Bay. At the lookout you can take in the exceptional views of Penguin Rocks and the bay. You can then descend down the 115 steps to view the Remarkable Cave from a viewing platform where you will be surrounded by ancient sandstone cliffs
