This activity is unique because it offers a hands-on, interactive farm and petting zoo experience where travelers actively participate in caring for friendly animals and gardens. Guests can milk goats and feed baby goats, feed bunnies, collect fresh eggs from the chickens, and help tend vegetable and herb gardens.

What to expect

During this hands-on farm experience, you’ll step into the role of a local farmer for the day. After meeting your bilingual guide, you’ll learn about the history of the farm and how it became the only dairy goat farm in La Fortuna. You’ll get up close with friendly farm animals as you help milk goats, feed baby goats, Feed the bunnies, collect eggs from the chickens, and care for butterfly gardens.

You’ll also participate in daily farm chores such as tending the gardens, weeding, and harvesting fresh vegetables and herbs. Along the way, your guide will explain sustainable farming practices and the benefits of goat milk. The experience is interactive, educational, and relaxed, with plenty of time to pet animals, enjoy fresh fruit and natural juice, and take photos surrounded by jungle air at the base of the Arenal Volcano.
