Discover Utrecht in your own way on a private tour tailored entirely to you. From a century-old knighthood to the story of Utrecht’s greatest hero, the world’s most famous bunny, and even the country’s priciest staircase, we share stories that bring the city to life — all at your pace.
We are Bram, Julian, Marta, Mirte, Koen, and Maxime. Next to your regular jobs, we love wandering the city and sharing your passion for Utrecht. On this exclusive private tour, we take care of everything so you can simply enjoy exploring.
During the 5.5 km tour, we meet you at your preferred location in the city centre. Your guide focuses entirely on you, highlighting the places and stories that interest you most, ensuring a relaxed, stress-free experience.
Afterwards, you can unwind with a delicious lunch, drinks, or dinner at one of your partner restaurants. The lunch includes soup, a sandwich of your choice, and non-alcoholic drinks — everything arranged so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
We meet at Stationsplein 6 in Utrecht, right outside the main exit of the train station, across from the restaurant Menneke Pis. Your guide will be waiting for you there and can be easily recognised by a sign that says “Our Utrecht.”
The tour ends at Domplein 6 in the heart of Utrecht’s city centre. A perfect place to continue exploring or find a terrace. The start location is only a 5-minute walk away, and your guide will gladly help you find the way back.
At the Catharijnesingel we talk about resistance heroes and even UFOs. Today it’s a beautiful green park surrounding the historic canals, but it hasn’t always looked this way. The story of this place reveals how Utrecht transformed one of its most controversial spaces.
The Oudegracht is the lifeline of Utrecht, both in the past and today. This unique canal, with its wharf cellars along the water, is unlike any other in the Netherlands. And if you look closely, you’ll even find a poem here that never ends.
Ledig Erf is one of the squares locals love most for a beer or a glass of wine. Once the site of Utrecht’s largest city gate, it’s now a lively and welcoming square where people gather to relax and enjoy the city.
From the Oudegracht we continue to the Nieuwegracht. At first glance they may look similar, but there are some surprising differences. Can you spot what makes this canal so unique?
We end at Domplein, home to the famous Dom Tower — the pride of Utrecht and the perfect place to take in the city’s history.
