The park features a scenic lakeside walkway and seasonal flowers throughout the year, including cherry blossoms in spring, lavender in summer, autumn foliage, and snowy Mount Fuji in winter. It’s an ideal place for photography and a relaxing stroll.
Enjoy a Japanese traditional performance at a local restaurant near Lake Kawaguchi, accompanied by lunch. Guests may choose between a soft drink & snack buffet set or a sumo-style chicken hot pot with soft drink buffet.
Togendai is located on the shores of Lake Ashi and serves as a key transportation and sightseeing hub in the Hakone area. It is a main starting point for the Hakone Ropeway and Lake Ashi sightseeing routes. Surrounded by mountains and lake views, the area offers a peaceful introduction to Hakone’s natural landscape.
The Hakone Ropeway is one of Hakone’s most iconic sightseeing experiences, connecting Togendai with major attractions such as Owakudani. From the ropeway, travelers can enjoy aerial views of volcanic terrain, forests, and valleys, and on clear days, even distant views of Mount Fuji.
Owakudani is Hakone’s most famous volcanic valley, formed by volcanic activity thousands of years ago. Visitors can observe steaming vents, rugged terrain, and sulfurous fumes up close. The area is also known for its black eggs, boiled in volcanic spring water, which are said to bring good luck. Owakudani offers a fascinating glimpse into Hakone’s geothermal landscape.
Odawara Station is a major transportation hub in Kanagawa Prefecture and a Shinkansen stop connecting Tokyo with the Hakone area. On this tour, some guests may choose to end their journey here. The guide will assist with purchasing Shinkansen tickets, offering added flexibility for onward travel.
