- Hagia Sophia is an active mosque and one of Istanbul’s most visited landmarks. Security lines may occur during busy periods, and skip-the-line access is not available.
- Modest clothing is required when visiting mosques. Women should cover their hair, shoulders, and knees. Men should avoid shorts above the knee
- This is a walking tour and requires a moderate amount of walking.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- The Blue Mosque is closed to visitors until approximately 2:30 PM on Fridays due to weekly congregational prayers.
