This private plan allows you to experience ice fishing for wakasagi fish, the most popular activity at Lake Nukabira, in an easier and more comfortable way. The wakasagi fishes you catch will be served as tempura.
This is a unique Hokkaido nature experience which you can enjoy the delicious taste of wakasagi fishes you catch yourself with famous sake and wine in Tokachi area in the magnificent panoramic view of the Daisetsuzan National Park, Hokkaido.

[ What to bring ]
A set of windproof and thick top and bottom wear such as ski wear, snow boots, gloves, hat, and other warm clothing (the activity is conducted in -20°C environment)

What to expect

This tour is a no-hassle tour, limited to one tent per group, where our staff will provide a tent with a stove, fishing rods, reels, traps, bait, and all other necessary equipment.
In winter, when Lake Nukabira is completely frozen over, you may be able to see a natural phenomenon called "ice bubbles" (a phenomenon in which gas at the bottom of the lake freezes in the water and appears on the surface of the lake. The nearby Tausubetsu River Bridge can also be seen.
