After a warm welcome by our representative who will be holding a signboard of SafeHands Travels, We’ll then set off on a scenic 71-km drive (about 1.5 hours) to Omkareshwar, a serene town nestled on Mandhata Island in the Narmada River.

Omkareshwar is home to one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas, the Omkareshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple, perched on an Om-shaped island, exudes a mystical aura with its ancient stone architecture and serene riverside setting.
You’ll also visit the Mamleshwar Temple, just across the river, believed to house the other half of the Jyotirlinga, completing your spiritual pilgrimage. Afterward, we’ll drive 138 km (about 3 hours) to Ujjain, the holy city of Lord Shiva. Check into your comfortable hotel and rest up for an exciting day ahead.
Rise and shine for a delightful breakfast at your hotel, preparing you for a day immersed in Ujjain’s spiritual and cultural treasures. Known as one of India’s seven sacred cities, Ujjain is steeped in history and devotion, once serving as the capital of the legendary king Vikramaditya. Our first stop is the iconic Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, where Lord Shiva is worshipped as the Lord of Time. This three-story temple houses the self-manifested (Swayambhu) lingam, believed to radiate divine energy. If you’re up for a unique experience, we can arrange for you to attend the Bhasma Aarti, a pre-dawn ritual (booking required in advance) where ashes are offered to the deity—an awe-inspiring moment!
Next, we’ll visit the nearby Bada Ganesh Mandir, home to an 18-foot-tall, 10-foot-wide Ganesha statue, a symbol of wisdom and prosperity. The clockwise trunk and intricate trident and swastika carvings make this idol truly unique. We’ll then explore the Harsiddhi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Annapurna, a Shakti Peeth known for fulfilling devotees’ wishes, adorned with vibrant Maratha architecture.

In the evening, we’ll head to Ram Ghat on the Shipra River to witness the captivating evening Aarti, with flickering lamps reflecting on the water. Enjoy some free time to shop for local handicrafts.
After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, we’ll visit one last gem in Ujjain: the Mangalnath Temple, believed to be the birthplace of the planet Mars. Its serene ambiance and astrological significance make it a perfect spot for quiet reflection.
We’ll then drive 56 km (about 1.5 hours) to Indore, the culinary and cultural capital of Madhya Pradesh. Known for its blend of modernity and heritage, Indore is a delight for travelers seeking authentic Indian experiences.
