After pickup from your hotel, we kick off this spiritual adventure with a scenic 4-hour drive (180 km) to Trimbakeshwar, home to one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later in the afternoon you will visit Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga. This Shiva temple is found at the foot of Brahmagiri Hills. Established by the Maratha ruler, Peshwa Nana Saheb in the 18th century, the temple is mentioned in the powerful Mrityunjaya Mantra that bestows immortality and longevity.
After darshan (prayer), we’ll head to Nashik (28 km, ~45 minutes), a city steeped in mythology as the site of Lord Rama’s exile in the Ramayana.Nashik hosts the Kumbh Mela every 12 years, a massive Hindu festival that draws millions—a testament to its spiritual significance.
Rise and shine to a wholesome breakfast in Nashik before we set off on a 5-hour drive (200 km) to Grishneshwar, near Aurangabad, home to another sacred Jyotirlinga. The Grishneshwar Temple, crafted from red basalt stone, is a gem of Maratha architecture with intricate carvings and a five-tiered shikhara (tower). As the smallest of the 12 Jyotirlingas, it holds immense spiritual power, allowing devotees to touch the Shiva Lingam—a rare and intimate ritual that travelers will find deeply moving. The temple’s serene ambiance, set against the backdrop of the Ellora Caves, makes it a perfect blend of spirituality and history.

First proceeds to Darshan Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Temple, a religious place in Shirdi, Maharashtra in India, that is dedicated to Shri Sai Baba, who is considered to be one of the greatest saints to have been born in India. Sai Baba is believed to have been blessed with unprecedented powers, and he is worshipped as God incarnate in the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Temple. This is a must-visit holy place for all devotees of Sai Baba who wish to experience what pure tranquillity and bliss feel like and be closer to God for a while.
Next will proceed to visit Dwarkamai is a mosque in Shirdi where Sai Baba spent a significant portion of his life. It is considered a sacred place by devotees and is known for the stone on which Sai Baba used to sit and the dhuni (sacred fire) that he maintained.
Thereafter will proceed for visit Khandoba Temple, this temple is dedicated to Lord Khandoba, a regional deity. Sai Baba was also an ardent devotee of Lord Khandoba, and it is believed that he received the name "Sai" at this temple.
After a nourishing breakfast in Shirdi, we embark on a scenic 4.5-hour drive (183 km) to Bhimashankar, nestled in the lush Sahyadri Hills. The Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas, is a spiritual haven surrounded by the Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary. Its Nagara-style architecture, with intricate carvings, tells the legend of Lord Shiva’s victory over the demon Bhima, captivating history buffs and spiritual seekers alike.
After darshan, we’ll drive 5 hours (220 km) back to Mumbai, arriving by evening. Spend your final hours in the vibrant city with light activities tailored for relaxation.
